In October, 2005, a flood devastated the town of Alstead, NH, killing 4 townspeople and destroying many homes. To memorialize the event, my neighbor, Paul Rodrigue, put together with my assistance an oral history of the hours leading up to the 20 foot surge of water that tore through the town that Sunday morning. The result was Water Rising; a CD edited and produced at my home studio that uses just the voices of the townspeople to recount their experiences on that day. It concludes with a song I wrote about the flood, Cold River Song.
